yeah...one would think that i would go all mushy, reflective, and sentimental given the title...but i won't hehe... the title is my perception of the topic in an Oprah show i watched two days ago (i'm a BIG Oprah fan)
it was very interesting, she interviewed the guy who admitted (gave the boarding passes etc.) the two terrorists of 9-11 in the airport, one could just imagine the emotion in the guy...he was already having a disturbing against one of the terrorists, saw the anger in the eyes...but he didn't do anything since nothing would have suggested otherwise wrong. he actually made the two men go to another step with American Airlines before they could board the plane (which is not really in the SOP, but they did it anyway) in hopes of a possibility of delaying the two men... then the guy told Oprah that the teller in American Airlines killed herself after the 9-11 attack....
anyway, i really believe that there is a higher order to things, that all people are connected somehow, and how a person's actions can influence an outcome outside his sphere of being... it's like going to church, getting at this particular time and sitting on a particular part of the pew influences the whole seating plan of the church. if that person comes in 5 seconds later, another one may have sat on that same seat and the person would therefore sit on another, coming up with a different seating plan. in both instances, a person has the power of influencing another person's line of vision of the altar, etc. ....oh well, i'm rambling here...
despite the depressing start of the show, Oprah also showed a joyful side to how people are connected...it showed the success story of Harry Potter...where JK Rowling's transcript was in the rejected pile since the company does not publish children's book and where one employee just leafed through it, loved it, called an agent, got rejected again by 3 publishers, until it is at last accepted... so technically Rowling owes the gal a big one, hehe
oh well there it is...speaking of talk shows, im getting a bit hooked on the Ellen Degeneres show...she's really wacky, hehe

I believe in that too, the "cosmic connection" of things and people.
What if we never met? I almost went to DLSU for college after all (I had payed the registration fee already!). Edell almost went to UP. Carlo could've stayed in Australia forever (here's to hoping...haha! j/k). Mazie could've decided to stay in the US for another year, or she could've continued doing theater. Aldous could've stayed in Cebu. Carmeli could've stayed in Batangas (Oh! remember my picture with her in first year high school? weird! haha). Trisha could've gone back to...China? Angie could've gone to UST. You could've met a Tamahome-looking bloke and eloped with him the summer before college.
I should write an entry about this. Hehe.
yeah if we never met, imagine how i will stay sober for every day of my life!!! bwahaha, you rocked my college life, dude (hinting na gusto ko nang magparty)...
