Blah…blah…

Been posting a lot lately…probably because I’m always in front of the computer and would always like to do “something else” before proceeding with my work, and the fact that I’m gonna borrow My Girl tonight would definitely impede my desire to go online…anyway, just some random comments again on what’s been happening and the stuff that I’ve watched…

Spent last Saturday hanging out with Ten, Ice, Dons, Rica, JP, Gillian, and Wonina…hehe ang saya! I really have this philosophy that the outings that have a higher probability of pushing through are those made at the last minute… Voila! What turned out to be just a movie-tripping at 4pm ended up with an all-out chikahan at Donna’s place till 12:30 am, then going straight to Ice’s place just to watch the alternate US ending of PnP…haha, to my demise, Ice’s dvd player doesn’t work…so Ten and I woke up early Sunday morning to go to my place and watch the freaking ending…

Gosh, why didn’t they just add that alternate ending in the first place? I admit that it’s mushy and not in the book but what the heck, sue me for asking a kissing scene in one of the best written works of all time. Love the torch lights, and of course the kissing scene itself where they are “incandescently happy”…although I’m a bit bothered by the calf-stroking part at the start bwehehe…nevertheless, it’s a better ending than the one ending with Mr. Bennet that always leave one wanting…

Also got to watch X-men: the Last Stand…is it really the last production? It’s so implied in the end that there’s going to be another one, with Magneto being able to slightly move the chess pieces and Professor X being able to live in another human form (I just hope people got to watch that part after the credits). Anyway, is James Marsden really dead in the movie? Damn it. Love Angel’s wings btw, na-turn on si Ice haha. Love the way they did Beast, sobrang gaya hehe. Shux, where the hell are Gambit (they should’ve pursued the original Rouge-Gambit tension thingy, I loved that in the animated series) and Jubilee (haha, I’m the one who portrays her when I was young, ako rin si Pink 5, Leonardo, ano pa ba?)? Pati si Nightcrawler naglaho. Anyway, still like the movie although it’s already far off from the original.

Also watched this documentary of Deep Purple, one of the classic rock bands, yesterday at Wowow… the latent rocker in me resurfaced again. Of course the only time that I was actually glued to the screen were the bits about Highway Star (nobody’s gonna take my car… yeah, good road trip song) and Smoke on the Water (the riffs talaga are the key). I hope Wowow also features more classic rock bands. Wasn’t able to finish the whole thing since my mom as usual questioned my choice of shows and opted to watch the news.

Also attended an IEP dinner last night, hay, kakatamad na nga eh, but it’s also nice to see all the people before graduation, added to the fact that it’s free, hehe. I was also able to memorize (at last) Perhaps Love by Howl and J…yung guy part na lang yung kailangan ng polish…actually kailangan ko lang ng Korean guy to sing it with me ;)
