nowhere to go but Up!

I'll be embarking on my "trip-series" starting tomorrow to my province in Negros Occidental to visit my brother (followed by Macau-HK and Boracay separated only by a week) so before I leave the comforts of home, I decided to watch Up, and watching it alone did not stop me from watching this film (I'm actually quite used to watching in the cinema alone actually).

Get ready for the waterworks from the get-go, I tried to contain my tears at the beginning but I just got a headache so I let them flow. The characters are just so loveable, doesn't matter if they're in the good or bad side (c'mon, my favorite character is Alpha, the mean Doberman with the sissy voice --- I really LOL the moment he talked). The voice actors are also great especially those who got to do Carl and Russell (wow, Russell's voice really fits the visual!). The story is very simple with plenty of hilarious moments so it's both child and adult friendly. An enjoyable comedy-adventure animated film with a lot of heart, I would not mind going for another run with this one.

Also, just how cute is the short film (Partly Cloudy) just before the movie? I mean clouds are cute in general --- they're big and fluffy and you want to eat them coz they look like cotton candy --- but the film really amped up the cute clouds to another level!
