goodbye 2nd passport T__T

I had my passport renewed last Friday and got a bit melancholic compared to when I renewed my first one (wc I think only has two sets of stamps on it) . This 2nd passport definitely has a lot of memories behind it -- 9 countries (3 of them I've visited twice)  in five years of travelling, accomplished by some penny-pinching and major financial management (thank you travel fund) since I can hardly ask my parents to fund my so-called vice.

I find it funny that I’m totally smiling with teeth showing in this passport photo and it somehow passed DFA. These were the days when processing it through the fixer agency was the norm if you don’t want to slug it out with utter chaos and under the blazing sun. Thankfully, the times have changed and I had to only wait under two hours (it would’ve been less if I made the appointment in the morning *sigh*) in comfort, ie airconditioned room with chairs.

So annoyed when immigration officers stamp at the last pages of my passport or mix the stamp with the occupied pages/spaces (hence, not in chronological order). I’m kind of anal about that lol. So happy that the last stamp in this passport is from South Korea, kind of a full-circle moment given that I’ve always wanted to go there and it provides a change of scenery compared to my usual destinations. Goodbye passport, you have definitely earned a clean(er) spot in my drawer :D
