The concept of the show is to present the various sights in Korea (mostly in a 1N/2D timespan) and at the same time, being a variety show, they had to do certain challenges given to them by the staff. These challenges involve winning certain meals (yes, sometimes they don't get to eat dinner at all), getting allowance money, who has to sleep outside, even to determining who among them will be left behind and figure out how to go to their base camp. I love the fraternity among the members, it's obvious that all of them have different personalities but they all balance each other out. And since I'm a travel freak, this makes me all the more antsy to go to South Korea. Well, the Philippines is also a prime location for this type of show, but let's just say that variety Korean-style is hard to pull off.

Btw, I want a version of this pic with my travel buddies!
Actually, I just made this entry to post two new songs, ugh, haba ng intro. Here's one of my favorite songs which was featured in the South Korea Coastline Trip (3N/4D). I love the montage, makes me wonder why I didn't do this during the 10-days/3-countries trip I had with my friends last May. The song is Nation's Love Song (Remix) by Jang Geun Yi (feat. MC Mong & Yuri). The montage starts at 0:54.
And I'm still boggled by Koreans' fascination with trot music, but hey, they can be catchy. Here's the iconic presentation by the 1N2D guys, Park Sang Chul's Mujokon (this is now my wake-up alarm, hehe).
It's not hard to see why this show is still strong after three years and dominating the ratings. Variety jeongshin! Il bak --- I eel!!!
